I'm Kalea and it's wonderful to meet you! You may have met me at a different URL - I write another blog, Love Made Visible Events. I'm a creative, organized, list-loving type gal who gets overly excited at the idea planning any type of party (especially my wedding!). On any given Saturday morning, you might just find me at a Seattle coffee shop, latte in hand, hovering over my laptop and/or magazines searching for inspiration.
I live in a little one bedroom apartment in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle. I don't own a T.V. and if you love the color "silver sage" from Restoration Hardware, you'd love my kitchen and living room. My dining room table is in my living room, serving as a sewing desk, and my 9-5 job is hanging out with two of the coolest, smartest, funniest, and cutest kids in all of Ballard.
I met my Very Cute Fiancé our freshman year of college at Seattle Pacific University - he is now in his second year of law school at Seattle University and works in the Mariner clubhouse from March to October every year (Go M's!). Nate has no idea what DIY stands for or what a peony looks like, but has been more than enthusiastic to talk about food options with potential caterers. We are both really looking forward to our June 2012 wedding - and will attempt to plan a wedding reception that feels just like a family backyard bbq (complete with smores and lawn games), just on a much larger scale.
